Looking deeper into one’s own self: A message to humanity

This article aims not to bombard bundles of words as to build scope of the writer’s qualification nor is to highlight an issue to define his caliber of imagination, rather, the sole motive of this writing to bring something to spotlight, which, when verbalized is rare and not commonplace. This article shuns bothering readers to filter dictionaries in order to comprehend its complicated phrases and endorses digging deeper into its implicit message. A thorough analysis and effective application of subsequent sentences lead to the writer’s pleasure.

The tongue is a lightweight muscle and it takes a minimal fraction of any possible exertion to fill it with motion. This, along with the voice-box produce an immediate effect called speech. An entity that has lost its value and is a source of impairment and misguidance in the very era. Brimming one’s heart with hatred and envy and the evil ability to shove beings into possible devastations is all a magic of words. Deceiving other to ensure one’s own positive image or bluffing to amass loads of riches is the ultimate power of speech. Brainwashing the young to commit a heinous, gruesome massacre or exploiting him for the sake of moral corruption is all a game of eloquence. Of what even would such a potent cog be if used in a beneficial direction? Yes, Indeed! The answer would be ’sizeable’

Therefore, today we must all agree− irrespective of our creed, status, wealth, cast, color, gender, religion, or country− that we have misused and under-realized the strength and significance of speech. What is the most precious commodity the world can figure-out today? In today’s advanced world, as the mind clicks, surely a charming, comfortable and speedy vehicle? Or a sophisticated, well-designed and well-known electronic? Or a gold-plated, ruby-carved and desired valuable? Or at the furthest of the spectrum, a lavish, rather luxurious and extravagantly structured mansion? No, that is the most frequent misinterpretation the human brain is subject to. There a plenty of a people the world has seen as billionaires who could afford everything they desire, single-handedly. Success applies to those whom the globe has seen as rich with regard to wealth, fame and status, or hovers over those who are on road to all this. In practical, all this is an ambiguous and pathetic picture the humanity paints to name its success. The race for wealth eventually leads to a race against it. The interrogation raised earlier onto who holds the title of most invaluable still awaits an answer. The answer is: a human. Now it might seem a stupid, baseless answer and surely an awkward surprise. At this very instant, the reader would be like what a wretched time-waster this article was and would be infuriated over the geography and objective of this writing It would verily appear to be a ridiculous and bewildering answer. As of the common sense, each and every living thing who replicates human behavior and appearance claims to be one and according that observation the globe currently hosts around eight billion human beings. But the truth lies on the other side and yes, that’s the twist in the story, where amplified elaboration is to follow.

Human. What is a human? Well, as far as the dictionary is concerned, it lays down four definitions of a human:

1. relating to or characteristic of humankind.

2. of or characteristic of people as opposed to God or animals or machines, especially in being susceptible to weaknesses.

3. showing the better qualities of humankind, such as kindness.

4. of or belonging to the genus Homo.

Now if these classifications are shaped into paragraphs, one after the other, the first one skips any intricacy and observes transparency. It creates a vague meaning and no sense can be grasped if the proper and clear connotation of humankind is unavailable. Or from another perspective, it synthesizes a loop of how a human should be defined.

The second declares human distinct from animals and machines and unequal to God. It also puts the mankind subject to vulnerable feebleness.

The next one serves the purpose of this article and outlines such a quality that is absent in a majority of mankind. It openly states humans to be kind and associates the tag of ‘better qualities’ with humans. What a magnificently exceptional definition!

Before jumping back to this key description, the upcoming should be dealt with promptly.

The fourth is a precision linked with zoology and does not appeal to the relevance of this article.

Heading back to the third, if incorporated with the second, both give a solid underpin of what is being discussed. We have forgotten the true meaning of ourselves and are eagerly after wealth, fame and luxury. It must be noted here that comfort has not been mentioned in the list because we have misinterpreted the real source and meaning of comfort. It is sadly linked with renown, luxury and money. We all are in the race of a better lifestyle, bank balance and status and if national viewed, towards a firm economy; unconventional technology; potent defense; and robust infrastructure. This competition has made us ignore the means by which these are accomplished. Spam, trickery, theft and deception have become commonplace. Of what value is an illegally achieved, mountain of gold in front of a legal handful? Today the world has everything except for moral, kindness, goodwill, patience, benevolence, cooperation, honesty and soft-speech. And moral has no market, kindness has no shop, goodwill has no store, patience has no mall, benevolence has no outlet, cooperation has no factory, honesty has no industry and soft-speech has no emporium. It is you and I produce all these qualities and reflect them in our character. We only hold the responsibility to establish and spread these good practices. And all these statements must not be confused with any religion, these are the fundamental part of human nature. All these separate us from the animals around us. These make up the only difference amid humans and animals. Division on religious lines are the result of these attributes’ dearth. Calling them qualities, attributes or any word that depicts grace, is a very major loophole, as they constitute the very being of humans.

Moreover, amassing a plethora of assets is not the name of comfort and success but in many cases, it is central to drastic depression and long-term failure. People such as clairvoyants or to be recent, many famous personalities e.g. Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, Muhammad Ali Jinnah and many more, had no desire for wealth and fame and only worked for public interests tirelessly and invested their best to bring a morally obeyed and culturally respected change to the humankind. It might be impossible to conclude this inscription as the chain of golden letters persists but the best end to this text can be in the following form:

And you? When will you began the long journey into yourself?
